"Here....a person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially
one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life."

Each one of us owes our life to everyday heroes that surround us. These heroes are the ones
that ensure the safety of our children, our property, and promote the well being of the world in which we live. Men
and women who go to work each day not knowing what that day will bring or what it's circumstances will require. For some,
the call of duty will require their lives.
We might not wear a badge, but we too have a duty. And while we cannot restore life to those
that have fallen, and we cannot undo that which has been done, we, as the American citizens being protected, must give back.
We must take action in serving and protecting the loved ones of those who have sacrificed greatly in efforts to serve and
protect us.
We cannot return husbands to wives, fathers to children, or sons to families -- we cannot shoulder
the burden, therefore let us partner together in efforts to at the very least lessen the load.
